Typographic Packaging Design for "Koskenkorva Vodka"

The project started with choosing a Scandinavian brand for a vodka project, ultimately selecting "Koskenkorva Vodka." I drew inspiration from Nordic mythology, particularly focusing on the concepts of Ancestry and Roots. After brainstorming, the Ancestry concept took precedence, using typographic elements to represent the three of the many important gods: Thor, Odin, and Freyr. The decision is made to use objects symbolizing their powers rather than attempting to depict the gods directly. Skald poems are utilized to design the packaging for the Nordic Vodka bottle, resulting in a design that celebrates the culture and heritage of the Nordic countries.
